It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Human Biology Program (HMB) at the University of Toronto. HMB is the vibrant home for a range of programs that offer undergraduate students a unique approach to exploring and understanding human biology. Our programs, which range from Global Health to Neuroscience, enable students to delve into the interdisciplinary field of human biology and specialize in their selected area of inquiry.
Academic offerings include a wide range of courses taught by faculty at the forefront of teaching innovation. A variety of laboratory courses are run in our modern state of the art laboratory spaces that opened in Summer 2017. Diverse experiential learning opportunities are also available. These include research project opportunities with faculty across the university and affiliated hospitals as well as service learning placements with community organizations in Toronto. Several exciting international course modules are also available to our students.
These are exciting times in HMB! I invite you to explore our website where you can learn more about our programs and events as well as the activities of our committed faculty, staff and amazing students. I look forward to welcoming you to HMB as a student, colleague or visitor.
